Celebrating wonderful pairings with a new hybrid flavour

What we did

Hot days and refreshing cider, friends getting together, passion fruit and orange – some things just go together wonderfully. Celebrated cider brand Somersby launched their newest flavour – Passion Fruit & Orange – and we created an immersive experience to introduce the drink to Singaporeans.

Inspired by the new flavour, we rooted the activation around the theme of ‘Wonderful Pairings’ and transformed an outdoor space in front of Plaza Singapura into the Somersby Wonderful Garden, with a vibrant aesthetic that captured the zesty, playful spirit of the brand.

The event offered Passion Fruit & Orange samples in the form of an event-exclusive slushie and covetable merchandise such as T-shirts designed by local artist Lydia Yang, better known as Oak & Bindi.

we did

A pop-up stout pub on Orchard Road

What we did

“Taste The Good Times” is the ethos that drives Connor’s Stout Porter, and the brand sought to establish its role as the Makers of Good Times in Singapore through a pop-up event.

Paying tribute to the British pub culture that lies at the heart of Connor’s, we created the Good Times Pub, a pop-up in the heart of the city centre, where our target audience could unwind after work and experience Connor’s firsthand.

Guests could sample Connor’s Stout Porter and try their hand at our “Shake It Off” challenge to pour the perfect pint of Stout Porter. Winners took home a six-pack of the new 320ml can and exclusive merchandise. The authentic pub interior provided ample photo opportunities, including the chance to pose alongside a giant pint of Stout Porter.

A toast to cultural icons for Singapore’s 59th birthday

What we did

To celebrate Singapore’s 59th National Day, adidas partnered with Ya Kun Kaya Toast to create a capsule collection that celebrates Singapore’s cultural diversity and heritage. We took on the challenge of connecting the heritage of both brands and their roles in fueling Singaporeans to achieve their impossible.

We set the photoshoot at the Ya Kun Kaya Toast outpost at China Street, a heritage outlet that set a tone of nostalgia and the familiarity of sitting down for an unmistakable breakfast of kaya toast and kopi.

The campaign featured Ya Kun Kaya Toast’s third-generation owner Jesher Loi, long-time Ya Kun staff Koong Wai Heong along with local goalie Zharfan Rohaizad and 98.7 DJ Chow Jia Hui. The combination of rich heritage with multi-generational creators served to emphasise the enduring appeal of two cultural icons: adidas and Ya Kun Kaya Toast.

An astrology meets retro-futurism aesthetic for a star-powered rooftop bar

What we did

Sitting at the top of One Raffles Place, NOVA bar opened as the tallest bar in Singapore. With an other-worldly aesthetic and cosmic ethos, the venue wanted to carve out a unique identity to attract a newer generation of nightlight enthusiasts and music lovers.

Embracing Gen Z’s love for astrology and retro-futurism, we developed a distinct brand playbook that sets a direction inspired by the era’s affinity for technology and astral exploration. This Y2K inspiration was extended to the photography and videography direction, resulting in a film-like feel and focus on the radiating neon lights of ASTRA, the light installation that is the heart of the venue. The overall content direction achieved was cohesive and impactful, aligning with the core tenets of NOVA’s identity.

Supernova

A cosy community run event for a super-comfy shoe

What we did

adidas launched Supernova, an entry-level running shoe targeted at everyday and beginner runners with the goal of addressing pain points experienced by runners – namely, creating a shoe that provides next-level comfort so the wearer can focus on going further.

To introduce Supernova to the market, we leveraged the adidas Runners Singapore community to target existing customers and engage new fans. To help runners find their comfort zone, we rolled out a special adidas Runners activation titled ‘Supercomfort. Supernova’.

The event brought to life the key technical tenets of the shoe, with a Dreamstrike+ A Pose photo wall evoking the signature adidas midsole cushioning, Comfort F&B station with the beloved Milo truck and a Cosy Corner, where guests could recline on mesh seating that mirrored the engineered mesh upper of the shoe. In addition, guests could trial the shoes at an area specially designed with pillars that nod to Supernova’s support pillars.

By bringing to life the technical attributes of Supernova, we created a dynamic space for runners and customers alike to explore and immerse themselves in Supernova comfort and create an accessible, inclusive running experience.

What we did

Bold flavour, bold sounds, bold moves. Heritage whisky label Johnnie Walker set out to re-introduce its products to a new generation of Gen Z consumers through the Johnnie Walker Black Label Flavour Studio.

Cue: Johnnie Walker Walk Beyond. Held at Design Orchard in the heart of Orchard Road, the event featured a pop-up bar serving Johnnie Walker Black Label in highballs or cocktails against a backdrop of live music performances by Yung Raja, Nash D and other local luminaries. Also available were cocktail workshops and a scent-based activity that took guests on a journey to discovering the flavour profiles of Johnnie Walker Black Label.

Guests took home DIY marbled glassware and specially designed merchandise by local artist Aeropalmics. They also got to indulge in complimentary temporary tattoos and nail wraps – a spin on the two forms of self-expression beloved by the new generation of Gen Z consumers.

Launching FC Bayern’s Third Kit with fanfare

What we did

We were tasked to create a highly shareable, fan-focused experience that generates buzz around FC Bayern Munich’s visit to Singapore while offering ample opportunities for fans to create content with their football idols in the new Third kit.

We developed an intricate online-to-offline campaign that started with teaser 3D video content by local creator @assthrowknot and an anamorphic video featuring the Third Kit played on the 3D LED screen at adidas Brand Centre Orchard for great photo opportunities.

The digital rollout led up to a fan meet at adidas Brand Centre Orchard where the FC Bayern Munich players and fans played a larger-than-life Goali game, inspired by the classic Singaporean game goli (marbles). Situated on the second floor of Brand Centre Orchard, the game offered a new challenge for players and fans alike, requiring precision to move the miniature balls to the centre of the field. The visit concluded with a fan meet-and-greet and a round of photo-taking opportunities.

Paris comes to Orchard Road with 1664

What we did

1664 Blanc: a premium wheat beer from Kronenbourg with a name that pays homage to its legacy. To bring 1664 Blanc into the spotlight, we set out to create a multi-day activation that would capture the essence of Good Taste With A Twist, the mantra behind the beverage.

Our pop-up space transported guests to 1664 Blanc’s French origins with a curated, refined space mirroring street-side bars. Guests enjoyed the wheat beer with a soundtrack of live musical performances from local talent. We offered complimentary tote bag printing on-site and live art portraiture from local artists Glenn Yong, Sam Driscoll, Charlene Su and the Cold Cut Duo. The event immersed attendees in the spirit of artistry, celebration and, of course, good taste.

Social media strategy to bring alumni together

What we did

Since 2023, we have worked with SUSS Alumni to rejuvenate alumni relations through their social media channels – Instagram and Facebook. Our goal has been to connect Alumni with the school and community whilst establishing the institution as a credible source of information for their life-long learning and career needs.

As part of the refresh, new content and a structured calendar have been introduced to meet the goals of the Alumni Relations team: connect alumni members, showcase the credibility of SUSS, become a hub for career advice, and build a strong alumni community.

To further rejuvenate the feed, we have introduced a multitude of new digital content series. Most notable is #FACEOFSUSS, a series of short interviews with SUSS alumni members who detail how their course of study at SUSS has impacted their lives and careers. Of note is our approach to showcasing the latest SUSS Alumni merchandise. Modelled by current students, the shoot establishes a younger and more recognisable face to the campaign and the alumni wider community.

Underground party to celebrate the Terrace footwear

What we did

Comprising Samba, Gazelle and Spezial, Terrace unites three icons of adidas Originals. The brand sought to reintroduce its iconic Terrace shoe trio to a new generation of sneakerheads, in a way that embodied the legacy of the shoes while appealing to Gen Z consumers.

adidas Originals teamed up with cult streetwear brand Limited Edt to host the ultimate block party: Terrace Takeover. The event set the stage for a takeover by culture, celebrating the trio’s enduring position in pop culture and their ability to adapt to different lifestyles.

We collaborated with local creatives to express how originality redefines these shoes for each new generation. Classified Footwear and Pharaoh’s Horses put on an experimental runway show that pushed the boundaries of how Terrace footwear can be styled. The entire experience was timed to the beat of a live set by San the Wordsmith.

Guests sampled food from local hawkers Yunos & Sons, and explored the art of our creators through live T-shirt printing by Pharaoh’s Horses, multi-purpose charms by MIAO, leather accessories by Yang and hairstyling services by Junz Loke, creating an immersive, highly local celebration.
