A Johnnie Walker pop-up for the new gen

What we did

Bold flavour, bold sounds, bold moves. Heritage whisky label Johnnie Walker set out to re-introduce its products to a new generation of Gen Z consumers through the Johnnie Walker Black Label Flavour Studio.

Cue: Johnnie Walker Walk Beyond. Held at Design Orchard in the heart of Orchard Road, the event featured a pop-up bar serving Johnnie Walker Black Label in highballs or cocktails against a backdrop of live music performances by Yung Raja, Nash D and other local luminaries. Also available were cocktail workshops and a scent-based activity that took guests on a journey to discovering the flavour profiles of Johnnie Walker Black Label.

Guests took home DIY marbled glassware and specially designed merchandise by local artist Aeropalmics. They also got to indulge in complimentary temporary tattoos and nail wraps – a spin on the two forms of self-expression beloved by the new generation of Gen Z consumers.
